Get to Know Me

Hi, I’m Katy! I came to the hair business through my background in theatre and theatrical makeup. I always knew I wanted a career that allowed freedom and flexibility - and being a hairstylist fits the bill and allows me to use my creative side every day.

 

I love what I do and the best part is when the cape comes off and my guests exude a new confidence that wasn’t there when we started. I’ve always got your back too! I love helping my guests change up their look but sometimes we all have to be honest: not every cut and color will work on every head. I love a challenge and can adapt any idea to an even better reality!

 

Having fun in the salon is important to me. Sometimes you might find me busting a move to the music! If you enjoy a laid back atmosphere and personalized services, we will get along great!

 

When I’m not at the salon you can find me hanging out with my husband (we met in 8th grade!) and our 6 year old son. I love watching a mish mash of shows and movies some my favorites being Big Bang Theory , Harry Potter, and Outlander while curled up with my cat and dog on the couch.
